TROPHY SPONSORSHIPS

 

Let’s face it.  A car show isn’t a car show without trophies to award to those special cars that truly deserve it. Attendees spend a lot of time, effort, and money to attend, and this is our way of thanking a few of them for their efforts and attendance.

 

ANY business, group, organization, or individual may sponsor a trophy.  You may also sponsor more than one trophy. No profits are made on trophy sponsorships.  All funds go directly to cover the cost of the trophies and dash plaques. We are a non-profit organization. All trophy sponsorships can be declared as a tax-deductable advertising expense.

 

All trophies will have their respective sponsor’s name and location engraved on the center brass plate for all to see (or whatever you’d like, within reason, not to exceed 20 characters per line, two lines of text).

 

Sponsorship levels are as follows:

 

$25 Donation Level (or multiples thereof)

each $25 increment will provide one 24” (approx) two-tiered Participants Choice trophy.  Sponsor’s info will be engraved on  the center brass plate.

 

 

$50 Contributor Level (or multiples thereof)

            each $50 increment will provide either two of the Participant’s Choice trophies, or one 36” (approx) three-tiered Best In Show trophy. Sponsor’s info will be engraved on  the center brass plate(s).

 

Best In Show trophy sponsors may even specify the particular category (class) of trophy they wish to sponsor (as long as it is still available), based on a first-come, first-served basis - second and third choices are encouraged.  See the list below for specific categories to choose from.

 

 

1)       ANTIQUE

As defined by AACA; 1950 and earlier – original, or restored as close to original as possible.

 

2)       CLASSIC

Defined as 1951- 1968 – original, or restored as close to original as possible.

 

3)       MUSCLE CAR

Defined as 1962-1972 – V8 – No restrictions on modifications.

 

4)       STREET ROD

As defined by NSRA; 1948 and earlier, heavy modifications, chopped, lowered, etc.

 

5)       SPORTS CAR

Defined as 2-door/2+2; import or domestic - no restriction on year or modifications.

 

6)       IMPORT

Defined as any vehicle imported from an over-seas manufacturer.- no restriction on year or modifications.

 

7)       TUNER

You know who you are; no restriction on year or modifications.

 

8)       MODIFIED CAR

Basically, any car that does not fall in any of the above categories.

 

9)       ANTIQUE TRUCK

Basically the same criteria as category #1, but specifically for trucks (no cars)

 

10)   CLASSIC TRUCK

Basically the same criteria as category #2, but specifically for trucks (no cars)

 

11)   MODIFIED TRUCK

Basically any truck that does not fall under another category

 

12)   LATE MODEL/PRO STREET

You also know who you are; late model (after 1972), no restriction on modifications.

 

            13)  MOST UNUSUAL

                   To be determined by participant’s choice voting.

 

            14)  OUTSTANDING PAINT & GRAPHICS

                   Also to be determined by participant’s choice voting

 

At the $50 level you, the sponsor, may submit a banner/sign/etc (not to exceed 36”h x 72”w) to be plastered on the Sponsor’s Wall of the MONSTER MILE^® for literally thousands to see during the event (contact one of the Club Officers to arrange pick up and return of your banner).

 

 

$75 Sponsor Level (limited)

will provide either three of the Participant’s Choice trophies, OR one each Participant’s Choice and one Best In Show trophy (you pick the category), OR one 42” (approx) three tiered, three sided Sponsor’s Choice trophy. Sponsor’s info will be engraved on  the center brass plate(s).

 

The Sponsor’s Choice trophy is just that – your choice.  No specific judging criteria.  Whatever car, for whatever reason, tickles your fancy the most is who you choose to be the recipient!  The sponsor may also actually award the trophy to the winner during the awards ceremony (and spend a few seconds plugging their business. Group, organization, etc).  Sponsor’s Choice trophy will require you (or your duly designated representative) to be present at the event to pick the recipient & even award the trophy (if desired).

 

We are limited to the number of Sponsor’s Choice trophies permitted, so get these requests in as soon as you can. At the $75 level you, the sponsor, may also submit a banner/sign/etc (not to exceed 36”h x 72”w) to be plastered on the Sponsor’s Wall of the MONSTER MILE^® for literally thousands to see during the event (contact one of the Club Officers to arrange pick up and return of your banner).

 

 

 

If you are able to provide any trophy sponsorship(s) please fill out the Trophy Sponsorship Form and mail in to the address on the form, or contact us and one of our event staff members will pick it up in person.
